Poker

Poker is usually played with a deck of 52 cards, but it may vary. The goal of the game is to win the bets by gathering the highest poker combination of cards. These combinations are ranked from the highest to the lowest one in the following order: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pairs, Pair, High card. If the combination is the same by players, high cards should be compared. Each dealing session has several rounds. In order to participate in the game, an “ante" bet should be placed (or “blind" in some variations). Players in a poker game act in turn, in clockwise rotation. Each player may “fold," which is to drop out of the hand losing any bets they have already made or “call," which is to match the highest bet so far made. “Raise," means to increase the previous high bet. Different game types offer various options, such as playing with low or high limits.
